Surf and Bodyboard school
Surf school Tribo do Mar is based in the center of Consolação, on the south beach of Peniche.
Surf classes
Tribo do Mar offers surf and bodyboard classes for beginners and advanced surfers, organizes surf trips and rents out surf material.
All teachers are licensed surf instructors and experienced surfers. Being local surfers they know the Peniche area very well and you can be sure you surf the best waves of the day.
Because Tribo do Mar takes security seriously each teacher works with a maximum of 6 persons. Surf classes also include sports insurance.
Surf material / Rentals
The rent of surf material is included in the surf classes. There is a wide range of boards and wetsuits to choose from. We have kids sizes too.
The surf material that is for rent includes a good choice of shortboards, malibu´s and wetsuits. Just visit the surf school and choose your board. Of course you can also pass by for some local wave information and a chat.
Surfguiding
For the more experienced surfer Tribo do Mar has surfguiding. Instead of renting a car, we transport you to the best waves in the area. Also to those you would not have found yourself.
There are more than 25 waves to be surfed, all in a reach of 15 minutes driving. Because the peninsula has a north and a south side there are always offshore conditions. Come on a trip with us and check out the local treasures.
Surfer girls
